Kensuke Koike is a seeker of the unseen. With the tight precision of a knife and ample humor, the artist deconstructs and reconfigures found photographs into unexpected, witty scenes. Koike’s keen ability to re-envision the vernacular and enliven the mundane exhibits not only the mastery of his skill, but also the brilliance of his vision.
In this special online exhibition, ROSEGALLERY presents works from both the artist’s series Single Image Processing as well as works from the project No More No Less, which Koike created in collaboration with the artist and archivist, Thomas Sauvin.
