The platinum print that you currently own is vastly different than a silver gelatin print in the tonal qualities. He was taught by the photographer Tina Modotti and began this printing process in the 70s. He made platinum prints until about two years before he died in 2002. The history alone makes the platinum prints unique but platinum prints are sought after by most collectors.
